The squeeze-on-press and push-the-indicator motion are intentional tactile cues. Many of our users are older adults who benefit from clearer acknowledgement that an action registered — a quiet press-in on tap, then a deliberate slide with the O/I markers being “pushed” aside, makes the state change feel physical and harder to miss than a flat color flip alone.
